The First University they visited was The California Lutheran University… Dean Michael R Hillis from the university was there to meet Dave and Craig!

“After completing my doctorate at the University of Washington, I taught at East Tennessee State University for three years before moving back to the Pacific Northwest at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU). While at PLU, I served as a faculty member, assessment and accreditation coordinator, and administrator for 18 years. Additionally, in 2000-2001, I was a Fulbright Scholar in Norway where I gave presentations to middle level students and teachers throughout the country. In 2008 and 2014, I was the Site Director for the Study Away Program in Trinidad and Tobago. My writing and research interests include the construction of race and ethnicity in the classroom, the moral assumptions of multicultural education, and the development of community partnerships.”

The second stop was Berkeley University, Berkeley is a public research university located in Berkeley, California. It is the flagship campus of the University of California system, one of three parts in the state’s public higher education plan, which also includes the California State University system and the California Community Colleges System.
