Claire southwold giveaway Claire from Aquinas Education presented Southwold Primary with some amazing prizes to reward the children for their great attendance.

The Top Prize was a brand new high-tech Tablet and the runners up received a pair of Lost City crazy golf tickets or a pair of Broadway cinema vouchers.

Our prizes were supplied to the school to use towards their attendance incentive. The School has seen an increase in attendance throughout the term due to the support from us and we are really happy to hear this!

Well done Southwold Primary…

St John Houghton Academy Derbyshire

Tuesday, May 16th, 2017

The Aquinas Foundation were very happy to support St John Houghton Academy in Derbyshire with a very worthy cause.

“As part of our ongoing pledge to support charitable organisations, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our second Community 3K and 5K fun run event on Sunday 25 June 2017.

The event will allow individual entrants to collect sponsorship in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, a charity which we have chosen to support for our 2017 event in memory of our colleague, Mick Hackett, who sadly passed away in June. The charity receives no statutory funding for its work and relies on support from event fundraising, corporate partnerships and trusts. Our aim is to raise funds to support this Charity’s vital work.

In order for us to host this community event we are asking for support from local businesses and organisations. While we are able to borrow some equipment, there are other items which will have to be purchased or hired and we wonder if you would be able to make a donation to our Academy’s PTA fund in order that we can make financial commitments to companies who can provide the equipment we need to make this event a success. We aim to provide trophies to winners, all entrants with medals, provide water and goody bags on the day and also chipped finish time to the 5K entrants.

I appreciate you probably receive many such requests but I hope you will be able to give consideration to sponsoring what we hope will be a very successful event for the local community. Our 2016 event raised over £1600 for The Make a Wish Foundation and we hope that our 2017 event for Motor Neurone Disease Association will be just as successful.”

Ferry Lane Primary London

Tuesday, May 16th, 2017

The Aquinas Foundation had a fantastic afternoon at Ferry Lane Primary school. We supplied the school with a Dance Lesson and Domino’s Pizza delivery as a reward for improved attendance!

The class with the best attendance for the term won the prize and they were very excited.

Ferry Lane 1

First of all we had a brief chat about the importance of coming to school every day and the fact that if they keep doing well with attendance then they could be helping their classmates win more incentives.

Ferry Lane 3The dance teacher then started with a warm-up and then moved on to a fun routine.Ferry Lane 2

The Children really enjoyed it one child said “this is the best! the best! day ever!”

The pupils were then rewarded with a delivery from Domino’s Pizza… there was a real buzz around the classroom and everyone was thrilled!

Southwark Primary

Tuesday, May 16th, 2017

The Aquinas Foundation have been working with Southwark Primary school for a long time now and we can clearly see the difference in attendance. They have improved dramatically and it is great to see!

AquinasFoundation

“With the support of Aquinas, we have continued to raise the profile of attendance and punctuality at Southwark Primary School. This year, we have had two specific campaigns (Autumn and Spring). Both campaigns have been very successful and Aquinas have generously provided our school with fantastic prizes such as Broadway cinema tickets, Lost City Crazy Golf tickets as well as Jungle-tastic vouchers. The children have been incredibly enthusiastic and eager to receive their prizes in our celebration assemblies.

We would like to thank Rosie for her continued enthusiasm and generosity and for always being at hand whenever needed. The children (and parents) always look forward to the prizes we have on offer and are extremely grateful as they have focus on families. With the support from Aquinas, we have been able to achieve our termly targets for attendance and further develop the parental involvement across our school.

We look forward to continuing our work with Aquinas to further raise the profile of attendance and punctuality at Southwark.

Many thanks,

Suky & Shazmin”
