Berridge Christmas Fair

Monday, January 15th, 2018

Aquinas Foundation would like to congratulate the Berridge Primary and Nursery for raising an amazing amount from their annual Christmas fair! Aquinas foundation strives to support all our schools in anyway, whether it be incentives or in this case a donation and this is the letter we received from the Berridge’s Head teacher to thank us for that support.

“I write on behalf of the pupils, parents and staff at Berridge Primary School to express my sincere appreciation for your generous donation towards our annual Christmas Fair. Your contribution helped to make this year’s Fair such a resounding success, where we raised the magnificent total of £1,929.87.

This money will be most welcome as it will be used to support the local community in continuing to improve the quality of education and offer a range of experiences for all the pupils attending the school.

So, once again thank you for your generous donation.

Yours faithfully

Mr J Tee

Dunkirk Primary Attendance Prize

Wednesday, January 10th, 2018

The Aquinas Foundation had been working closely with Dunkirk Primary school in the Winter term on their attendance project. Attendance was one of their weaker areas and so we looked at different incentives and ideas that could help raise the attendance levels and these have worked tremendously!

At the end of term assembly the winner of the attendance prize was presented with a brand new bike donated by The Aquinas Foundation.

Well Done!!

For all the other pupils who achieved full or improved attendance in the term may have missed out on the bike but not to worry, Aquinas Foundation will be providing doughnuts for them to have a party. A bike and doughnuts will be provided each term to support Dunkirk with their attendance project and to keep up the fantastic results!
