The Bramcote School Winners Announced!

Aquinas paid a visit to The Bramcote School last week to attend their Awards ceremony. The Bramcote School launched their attendance project last year with the hope that having two new Land Rover mountain bikes as an incentive from Aquinas that their attendance scores would improve. The project ran from 11/11/14 up to 4/4/14 and Aquinas went along to award the winners!

“Cordie’s mum was so excited. She said Cordie had been going on about this bike for some time saying she wished she could win it.  Mum tried to tell her there were lots of names in the draw so she probably wouldn’t.  How lovely that she has.”(Rosie Bosley/Attendance officer)

Junaid from year 10 was also thrilled to win the bike and to be able to take it home forever! he was apparently talking about it all day at school with excitement.

The Attendance project has helped the school to get to the 12th position in the county for Attendance. They have seen the results improve dramatically since the Bikes were taken in to assembly and used for an incentive. Aquinas are thrilled that we have helped the school to reach this position and will continue to work with the school on further projects.
